The list of new characters joining The Witcher season 2:
Netflix has announced most of The Witcher season 2 cast – including confirmations of who’ll be playing some major new characters from the books. New and Returning Cast Members, including Vesemir Voleth Meir would be an elf for “Deathless Mother,” and it looks like the character has an important role to play in Ciri’s story arc. “Dear friend” probably refers to a letter Geralt wrote to Yennefer in Witcher’s books.Īnd “Voleth Meir” refers to a new character played by Ania Marson. “Kaer Morhen” is the name of a fortress where sorcerers are trained. “A Grain of Truth” takes its name from a short story from Andrzej Sapkowki’s book The Last Wish, which features Nivellen, the character played by Kristofer from Game of Thrones Hivju in The Witcher season 2. The episode titles offer some clues about the second season of The Witcher. The title of the eighth and final episode is apparently so secret that we will have to wait to find out what it is. The episode titles for season 2 were revealed. There are also two new first-look clips for the series, which focus on Geralt’s relationship with the new character Nivellen (Kristofer Hivju). “None of us will have peace as long as there are no more monsters in the world,” says Geralt, ushering in scenes of magic, violence, and monsters, not to mention some epic panoramas of the continent and ominous portents on Ciri’s life.

We also received a new trailer for the second season of The Witcher at the end of October, which provided important information on how the second year of the series would unfold. In September 2021, Netflix released a new “Road to Season 2” trailer that combined clips from Season 1 with plenty of new footage from Season Two, including a first real glimpse of Kim Bodnia’s Vesemir. “Who is she as a person and how she and Yennefer found themselves on such different paths.” “We dig deeper into past and how he ended up in Nilfgaard,” said showrunner Lauren S Hissrich. Does that mean Yennefer will start season 2 of The Witcher in the custody of Nilfgaard? Fringilla and Yennefer certainly aren’t going to be friends … In the fall of Cintra, who says simply: “Welcome back …”. She was found by Fringilla, the Nilfgaardian witch who played a pivotal role. There is also a brief sighting of the last member of The Witcher’s central triumvirate, Yennefer of Vengerberg, in the aftermath of Season 1’s Battle of Sodden Hill. His place on the mainland after the death of his family and the loss of his kingdom – he admits that “sometimes I’m so scared, I feel like I could burn the whole world”.
Now that Geralt has made contact with Ciri, he takes her under his wing, leading her to Kaer Morhen, the citadel where he learned his witcher skills. Seeing that much of Season 1 focused on Geralt’s efforts to fulfill the Law of Surprise that binds him to Ciri, the Young Orphan Heir / Lion Cub of Cintra, it’s no surprise may that first trailer for season 2 of The Witcher pick things up with them.
